Ticket price policy
Price categories
With the 2024/25 season, WUK performing arts is continuing the choice price system with a new price scale. This means that you, our audience, decide for yourselves how much you can pay. You can choose between €22, €18 and €14. None of the three prices is tied to a specific seat and does not reflect the value or the cost of a production.
In addition, WUK performing arts is offering a new discounted category in order to keep the visit open to as wide an audience as possible:
Reduced category € 10
The €10 tickets can be used by anyone for whom the standard categories are difficult or unaffordable. This could include single parents, job seekers, welfare recipients, asylum seekers, students, pensioners and people on low incomes. Visitors decide for themselves whether they want to choose the discounted category - this is done without a formal check.
The fact that our audience can decide for themselves how much they pay means that different financial possibilities can be taken into account. What may be cheap for one person may be expensive for another - and sometimes this varies from month to month or from theatre visit to theatre visit. Especially in times of inflation and uncertainty, as many people as possible should be able to experience art and culture.
Further discounts
Holders of the Ö1 Club Card or the Ö1 Intro Card receive up to two tickets per production for €10 each. Proof of discount must be presented at the entrance without being asked.
Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur
The cooperation with Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur, which enables holders of a Kulturpass to attend events free of charge, will continue.
Wheelchair spaces
A limited number of wheelchair spaces are available. Tickets for these seats can be booked online in all price categories, subject to availability.
Barrier-free seat reservations and tickets
Visitors with mobility impairments or other visible or non-visible disabilities who are dependent on a specific seat have the option of reserving it in advance. Please contact us by email at performingarts@wuk.at and let us know which seats are suitable for you. Alternatively, our staff will be happy to help you directly on site on the evening of the performance.
Accompanying persons of wheelchair users and persons entitled to an accompanying person receive free admission, but we also ask them to book the seat online in advance in the appropriate category (accompanying person).
