The “Mooimarkshows“ is an exhibition series, which has already been on show in Johannesburg in 2003 and 2004. In Vienna, artistic positions from these previous exhibitions are to be taken up focusing both on the difficult situation in Johannesburg and on the situation of an art scene in Africa that is in a state of transformation. This is shown by way of photography, paintings, installations and videos.
