The Performance BICHO RARO is part of the exhibtion “after the last ready-made”. BICHO RARO explores the world of bodybuilding – its lifestyle, routines, and aesthetics – revealing the tension between contemporary body cults and a queer perspective on the body.
Der Workshop findet im Rahmen der Ausstellung "after the last ready-made" statt und verbindet Bewegungsmeditation mit einer Einführung in Stimmübungen wie Growling und Stimmverzerrung. Es werden dynamische Atemübungen vermittelt, die die Stimmarbeit unterstützen. Auf kreativer Ebene regen diese die Teilnehmenden dazu an, eigene Mantras und Gesangsbeschwörungen zu entwickeln, die den tanzenden Körper beflügeln.
Auf der Grundlage von Interviews mit Künstler*innen, Architekt*innen, Forscher*innen, Stadtplaner*innen, Aktivist*innen und anderen Beteiligten versuchen wir uns einen ganzheitlichen Eindruck zu verschaffen. Aus den Erkenntnissen dieser unterschiedlichen Gespräche entfaltet sich schließlich die Visualisierung eines zukünftigen Stadtviertels in Form eines Video-Essays.
