The exhibition project Botanizing the Asphalt explores the political role of light in urban spaces at night. Examining the materiality of night and its sensorial, normative, and atmospheric aspects, the potential of the nocturnal as a community meeting space unfolds against the backdrop of pressing social, ecological, and political contexts.

Loud and faint, perceptible and obscured, the group exhibition High on Distortion, Low on Reception explores the sounds of our present – layered with noise, lost in resonance. At the core is their role as communication, sensation, and cultural experience.

From Mexico to Albania, from former Yugoslavia to Afghanistan, from East Germany to Syria, there live generations of people whose sense of reality shattered from one moment to the next: a major shift in their country’s political landscape transformed every aspect of their daily life. Off the Precipice is a curated group exhibition with ten artists from different contexts where such a rupture took place.
