Sculpture, I want a date with you!
In her workshop Sculpture, I want a date with you! Jackie Grassmann will explore with participants how we can be affected by art and channel it for our writing.
One way to conjure feelings towards (art) objects is holding a direct fictional address to the objects, their personification. In brief, meditative sessions set to music we will rouse the objects into living beings with our imagination. In subsequent writing exercises we will articulate our experiences in letters to the art objects.
Absolutely no previous knowledge is required, just curiosity to observe objects and to immerse into your own inner life.
The workshop takes place in the framework of the exhibition “HOW EXACTLY LIKE THE OBJECT, HOW BEAUTIFUL! HOW EXACTLY LIKE THE OBJECT, HOW UGLY!“
