Does social cohesion have any future prospects? Or do we need to re-think it from scratch? Foraging it in the lacunas of social norms or in the cracks of social utopias?
Amidst a reality thick with social inequality, xenophobia, and an inflation of misogyny, the group exhibition "love and other rhythms" advocates for a renegotiation of togetherness and collectivity. The artists and collectives experiment with deviant forms of relationality and tackle the controversial term “society” from an intersectional perspective.
"love and other rhythms" embodies a multi-relational, performative platform where artists and visitors alike are invited to reflect on the processes and conditions of togetherness. The selected contributions attend to various social constellations and thus offer a breeding ground for a speculative world-making.
