SCHOOLS & CHILDREN GROUPS

Each children group and school is organised and operates as an independent association. The groups share a common understanding: to create a free space where children and youth have enough time and space to develop their own personality in the context of a community; a respectful, peaceful, and appreciative social environment; no dividing lines between learning and living; and democratic principles as the basis for shaping one’s own environment.  

Being affectionate companions on the children’s path to an independent life is based on cooperation between the supervisors, teachers, children, and parents.

  • In our dealings with the children we do not necessarily follow particular pedagogical concepts, rather we strive for an authentic, respectful, and appreciative social environment.

  • The intense exchange within a parent-managed children group enables a reflective cooperation between supervisors and parents.
